Philadelphia Scientific Welcomes New Addition to its Sales Force
01st September 2010Brian Crummy to serve as new eastern regional sales manager
MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa. – (September 2, 2010) – Philadelphia Scientific, a leading international manufacturer of industrial battery components, accessories and tools, today announced that Brian Crummy has been named eastern regional sales manager.
Crummy is a seasoned sales engineer with a wealth of experience in the industrial battery industry. As eastern regional sales manager, he will be responsible for sales and customer development in the eastern United States and eastern Canada. He will play a significant role in overseeing a territory of more than 20 states, building and maintaining customer and partner relationships and providing timely, local support to this region.
Crummy comes to Philadelphia Scientific with more than 12 years of experience in battery and accessory sales. He began his career with Electric Battery Company, LLC, in Long Island, where he served as a field service and sales representative for seven years. He then moved to EnerSys, where he worked for four years as a sales engineer. While at EnerSys, his responsibilities included sales of EnerSys’ direct purchase and rental programs to new customers and finding new business opportunities through canvassing and cold calling. Most recently, he served as senior solutions engineer for Exide Technologies/GNB with sales responsibility in the New York and New Jersey markets.
